A Walking Cane as Cool as You Are

Walking CaneYou have probably never thought much about walking canes, because they’re for old people, right? Think again. There are a lot of times during your life when a cane may come in handy. After all, you never know what life is going to throw at you. There’s always a chance you could injure your leg, have surgery, or develop joint problems. Sure, it’s easy to say now that you’d never be caught dead using a cane, but if you’re ever in a lot of leg pain and still want to remain mobile, a walking cane can be a godsend.

When I was in high school, there was this guy, Steve, who was really hot. Not only that, but he was one of the star players on the school football team, and he was extremely intelligent. He had it all. Then, one chilly Friday night, he got tackled and messed up his knee. He had to have surgery on it, and ended up in a cast. This was back in the old days, so there was no elevator to help a student get up and downstairs in a wheelchair. Either you were well enough to walk somehow on your own power, or you stayed home.

Before long, Steve was back at school using a cane. Just imagine how cool canes suddenly became among the guys, especially when all the hottest girls in the school waited on Steve hand and foot. He couldn’t have come to school without that walking cane to help take the weight off his injured leg, but it didn’t make him look nerdy. Instead, he made it look cool.

Keep this in mind if there ever comes a time in your life that you need a walking cane. You, too, can turn a cane into an awesome accessory.
